Jerba Mate..: I am a mate drinking gringa and teacher educator. I am passionate about promoting critical citizenship and social justice through teaching, primarily in social studies although I have experience elsewhere. I am interested in how lived experiences both inside and outside of schools through both the implicit and explicit curriculum shape who we become as citizens. This is the space where I will bring my ideas out of the vacuum in which they have existed for so long. They are here to be sent into the world, responded to, supported, refuted, and in the end, better. Please join the conversation.
